It’s that time of year, again.. Where we buy our local talent a few drinks, and shoot the shit about another fantastic year of work. Finishing off with a few awards, that recognise the wonderful work our talented voices, contribute to the already, beautifully written scripts the agencies send us.
This year, the winner of the ‘Golden Mic’, is – Maurie Ogden, for his superb work on The Brand Agency’s ‘I need a service’ Radio campaign.
Have a squizz!

Thanks, again to our actors, for coming and drinking Nick and Juzzie’s Christmas Bonuses… They really appreciate it!
The Brand Agency recently took an innovative approach to the production of a series of three television spots highlighting Curtin University’s web service, ‘Student Box’. The combined range of talents of students were pooled to create a production team that saw the project through from inception to production. Final mixes were done here at Brainestorm and Steve from Boogie Monster made everything look pretty! The music was supplied by local electro outfit, ‘Sun City’ (http://www.livefromsuncity.blogspot.com/)
We have recently started recording a regular podcast for a group of young comedians, ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Podcasters’. Courtney Hart (http://sagehartagency.tumblr.com/) approached us asking if we could help. Courtney had already recorded the first 3 episodes in his office but wasn’t getting the sound he thought they deserved. Given that one of his key driving forces for starting the podcast was to showcase local talent, we were eager to get involved.
Their efforts have not gone unnoticed. The West Australian ran a story on the guys and the podcast.
